Sip on This: 9 Non-Alcoholic Canned Cocktails Worth Trying

April is Alcohol Awareness Month, and it takes place during springtime when social gatherings head outdoors and refreshing drinks are a must. What doesn’t need to be a must is for these beverages to contain alcohol.

Instead, cracking open some non-alcoholic refreshments can be a fun and beneficial way to enjoy drinks with friends and family without compromising your sobriety.

Here, we’ll share 9 popular non-alcoholic canned cocktails, so you can have your mocktail and drink it too!

1. Ghia Le Spritz

Ghia has made a name for itself with its aperitivo that can be treated like a concentrate and mixed with soda water at each person’s desired ratio. They also make ready-to-drink canned beverages like the Le Spritz offering that comes in a variety of flavors. Choose from:

  • Ghia Soda
  • Ghia Ginger
  • Lime & Salt
  • Sumac & Chili

2. Recess Zero-Proof Craft Mocktail

In addition to having canned beverages touting adaptogens and various herbs for mood support, Recess recently released its Zero-Proof Craft Mocktails. Flavors include the following:

  • Lime “Margarita”
  • Grapefruit “Paloma”
  • Watermelon “Mojito”
  • Ginger Lime “Mule”

3. Avec

Avec doesn’t pretend their canned beverages are only meant for NA but they admit they are routinely enjoyed sans alcohol. There is something for everyone considering the wide variety of flavors such as:

  • Ginger
  • Yuzu & Lime
  • Grapefruit & Pomelo
  • Hibiscus & Pomegranate
  • Jalapeno & Blood Orange
  • Spiced Mango & Passionfruit

Just reading these flavor names could make anyone thirsty!

4. Kin Euphorics

Kin Euphorics calls itself a “functional beverage” because flavors are crafted with ingredients based on Ayurvedic medicine. Each canned beverage name and description falls in line with the brand name and includes:

  • Lightwave: Portal to Peace
  • Actual Sunshine: Immunity + Beauty Booster
  • Kin Spritz: Invigorating Energizer
  • Kin Bloom: Heart-Opening Joy

5. Parch

Do you prefer bitter and sweet or smoky and spicy? Well, Parch crafts non-alcoholic agave spirits and cocktails that include a Prickly Paloma and a Spiced Piñarita.

As with other canned options on this list, Parch canned beverages contain more than one might expect to find, with their website explaining that their “bespoke blend of active adaptogens are carefully tuned to work symbiotically with your body’s natural functions to relieve stress and optimize wellbeing.” They call this “The Parch Effect.”

6. JAS Paloma Libre

A blend of grapefruit, lime, and signature botanical extracts, JAS Paloma Libre is meant to celebrate being alcohol-free. Beyond being a non-alcoholic version of a Paloma, this particular canned refreshment is also infused with Ashwagandha.

While the company is currently only selling one version of an alcohol-free cocktail, they also plan to release a Mojito Fresco. Similar to the Paloma, the Mojito Fresco will contain more than real lime juice and fresh mint—this one aims to energize with an infusion of yerba mate.

7. Figlia Fiore Frizzante

At first glance, the ingredients list for the booze-free, canned beverage from Figlia seems similar to that of Ghia’s Le Spritz but there are subtle differences that a palate will notice upon tasting. If you enjoy a juicy, fizzy beverage with a kick of spice, this one might be for you!

8. St. Agrestis

Standing out with its unique glassware shape, St. Agrestis offers multiple non-alcoholic cocktails that also come in cans. However, the company also carries versions of the same drinks with alcohol, so be sure to check the label before your first sip. Choose from a:

  • Phony Negroni.
  • Amaro Falso.
  • Phony Mezcal Negroni.
  • Phony Espresso Negroni.

9. DRY Botanical Bubbly

Refreshing when poured over ice on its own, DRY Botanical Bubbly cans are also great when incorporated into your favorite mocktail recipe. While the straightforward flavors may seem simple, these bubbly drinks were all thoughtfully created as sophisticated non-alcoholic options that pair well with food. Flavor options include:

  • Rainier Cherry.
  • Ginger.
  • Lavender.
  • Cucumber.
  • Vanilla.

While the above beverages provide grab-and-go options, you can also make refreshing non-alcoholic beverages at home using simple ingredients like soda water, fresh squeezed juices, and herbs. The flavor profile possibilities are truly endless!

As Alcohol Awareness Month draws to a close, we find ourselves just a few short weeks away from Memorial Day weekend—the unofficial summer kickoff. Before you head to the next picnic, beach day, or BBQ, grab a beverage that respects your recovery while satisfying your sense of taste.
