Types of Rehab Available at Greenhouse
Rehab Options at Greenhouse
Greenhouse Offers a Full Continuum of Addiction Recovery Care
Medical detoxification and residential treatment services are conducted at the main campus in Grand Prairie, TX. Partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services are offered at the Greenhouse Outpatient facility located in nearby Arlington, TX. For those looking for continued support during outpatient treatment, sober living is offered through Resolutions Arlington.
Medical Detox
Not everyone who comes to Greenhouse will require medically supervised detox. Upon arrival, our medical staff will assess your:
- Current substance use.
- Duration of substance use.
- Severity of physical dependence on a drug, or drugs.
- Anticipated withdrawal symptoms.
For those who do require medical detox, this level of care lets us medically manage their symptoms in a safe withdrawal environment with 24/7 supervision. While you’re withdrawing from drugs and/or alcohol, you’ll reside in a quiet detox area while being monitored by Greenhouse’s licensed medical team.
All members of the team are experienced in the nuances of wide-ranging withdrawal symptoms, recognize the stages of physical withdrawal, and understand the associated requirements.
Following medically supervised detox and evaluation by our interdisciplinary treatment team, you’ll work with your care team to determine the next appropriate course of addiction treatment.
Inpatient/Residential Addiction Treatment
Patients in an inpatient or residential rehab program reside at the Greenhouse facility for 24/7 monitoring.
This level of care ensures medical and/or psychiatric stability. Staff may encourage you to participate in individual therapy, group sessions, and curriculum programing.

Outpatient Rehab Care
Outpatient care is a step down from residential treatment and is a great way for those who cannot commit to living in a facility 24/7 to focus on recovery.
At Greenhouse, we offer 2 levels of outpatient care:
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
The PHP program at our Dallas rehab facility, sometimes called “day treatment,” is often a step down from residential treatment. In this program, you’ll begin the process of reintegration into work, life, and community. At the PHP level of care, you’ll attend 3-5 days per week of highly structured treatment consisting of individual therapy, structured activities, and group sessions.
Treatment for the PHP client is scheduled in blocks of 6-8 hours in duration.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The IOP program client requires a lower level of involvement than the PHP client but is committed to a structured schedule requiring participation in Greenhouse programs and therapy 3-5 days per week in treatment blocks of a minimum of 3 hours in duration.
When you’re in an IOP, your objective will be to refine your plans for reintegrating into society and preparing for the transition out of an intensive treatment program.
Sober Living & Rehab Aftercare
If you’re looking for supportive, sober housing while participating in outpatient treatment at Greenhouse, sober living is offered at Resolutions Arlington.
Resolutions allows you to reside in a fully furnished and safe environment while getting your life back on track in sobriety.
Aftercare Planning with Greenhouse Staff
During treatment, you’ll work with staff on an aftercare plan to reintegrate into home life, employment, and the community at large. Aftercare prepares you for ongoing success in all areas of life. This process includes recommendations for continued care with a psychiatrist, therapist, and/or physician as clinically necessary.
Each patient leaves treatment with a detailed rehab aftercare plan complete with the contacts and resources needed to continue along the road of recovery. Aftercare may include participation in our alumni program.
