Arturo Avalos, a seasoned professional with seven years of dedicated service in addiction recovery, embarked on his transformative journey as a cook before assuming roles as a compassionate treatment advocate and Lead Treatment Advocate. Currently serving as the Alumni Coordinator, Arturo goes beyond by studying to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Born in Laredo, TX, and raised in Dallas, his heart beats for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
Arturo’s commitment to helping others stems from his personal triumph over addiction, a journey that fuels his desire to give back. With a tight-knit family of four sisters and two brothers, Arturo cherishes their close bond. A former “Low Rider,” he now channels his energy into hosting weekly Zoom meetings and frequent alumni gatherings, fostering a supportive community.
In addition to his contributions in addiction recovery, Arturo is a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served as a crew chief on the Apache 64.
