Blake McCafferty, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a passion for crisis response, trauma-informed care, and community support. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, combining academic expertise with real-world experience to support individuals in high-stress and high-risk situations.

In his previous role as a Crisis Interventionist at MHMR of Tarrant County, Blake specialized in suicide prevention, crisis de-escalation, and connecting individuals with critical mental health resources. His approach is rooted in empathy, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health crises.

Before beginning his career in social work, Blake served nearly a decade in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. His military service included roles as a Cavalry Scout, Door Gunner, Tank Crew Member, and Driver, where he developed strong leadership, decision-making, and operational skills. During one deployment, he logged 765 flight hours in support of aerial missions in high-risk environments. His dedication and excellence were recognized through numerous awards, including the Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM), Combat Action Badge, Aircraft Crewmember Badge, among others.

Across both military and civilian roles, Blake has built a career defined by service, resilience, and a commitment to helping others navigate their most challenging moments. Whether in the field, on the phone, or in the community, he brings a calm, mission-focused mindset to every situation.
