As a therapist at Greenhouse Treatment Center, Hly Vang delivers individual, family, and group therapy, with a particular focus on facilitating the Coping With Trauma and Dialectical Behavior Therapy groups. Both are often essential components of our addiction treatment programs.

Hly completed her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She has dedicated her career to serving diverse and vulnerable populations, and advocating for individuals facing adversity. Her experience spans various fields including child welfare, court advocacy, vocational rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings.

She also provides individual therapy to clients through Find Self Counseling. In these settings, Hly’s role is to walk alongside the individual as they navigate highly stressful life events and systems that are often very confusing. Her gentle and open approach fosters self-reflection, learning, and healing.

During her spare time, Hly enjoys exploring new restaurants and plant nurseries in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She also enjoys gardening and taking her Maltese dogs on walks. She believes that self-care is an important part of the healing journey. Her favorite quote is “to plant a seed is to believe in tomorrow.” This is reflected in both her daily life and her work as a therapist.
