Maria Esther Ontiveros is committed to providing support, guidance, empathy, education, and counseling to those afflicted with addiction and mental health issues, or who have experienced trauma during military service or in their line of work (e.g., military veterans, first responders, medical staff serving in the emergency rooms or other professionals).
Maria obtained a degree in Nursing from the Juarez University of Durango, Durango, Mexico, a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the Dallas Baptist University.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a certified EMDR service provider, certified trauma-informed provider. Maria is certified in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to support her professional interactions with the members of our treatment community.
