Greenhouse Holds Seminar on Mindfulness and Self-Compassion

Greenhouse Treatment Center’s Holistic Healing CEU series is continuing with a seminar about mindfulness and self-compassion. The seminar will be hosted by Denette Mann, a therapist who is highly experienced with mindfulness practices, on Friday, March 13, 2020. The seminar will run from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Mindfulness and Self-Compassion

The host of the seminar is Denette Mann, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor certified in play therapy and EMDR. She also incorporates therapy dogs into her sessions. Mann’s seminar will discuss the purpose and importance of self-compassion, highlighting what qualifies as self-compassion and what misgiving people may have about the subject. Next, Mann will explore how mindfulness and self-compassion can be used to build confidence and help lower relapse rates.
