Katherine is a U.S. Navy Veteran and Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Supervisor. She has been helping youth, young adults, and Veterans and their families for over 20 years as a clinical leader, therapist, unit ombudsman, youth group leader, CASA volunteer, case worker for families and individuals experiencing homelessness, and service coordinator helping families navigate insurance needs.
Most recently, Katherine worked as an assistant program manager at an outpatient facility in Arlington, TX, and as the inpatient clinical director at a prominent mental health hospital in Fort Worth.
As a clinician, Katherine uses a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to treatment and specializes in trauma-informed care. She earned a Trauma Therapy Certificate from The Trauma Care Institute, where she was trained in Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Thought Field Therapy (TFT).
